NOTE: The louver struts MUST be the correct length (18” to 18 ½” center hole to center hole when extended) to use this support clip. Some DeLorean vendors were/are selling louver struts that are only about 17″.
Made of brushed stainless, use instead of the existing engine cover stay, guide and bracket (replaces 106356). Simply raise the lower engine cover until the striker loop is aligned with the clip, engage the loop into the clip and release. The louver will hold the engine cover open!
